Here’s a great solution to improving the look of a kitchen. I do a lot of these as well as brand new and bare wood kitchens.
As you can see in the first photo, it looks a bit dated and definitely needed refreshing.
It’s important to start off with a thorough double and even triple de greasing followed by abrading the surfaces so that the high adhesion primer I use is very certainly adhered to the surface and nothing will chip in the future.
Once the priming has been achieved, it gets a light abrade, vac off, then microfiber clean to have a perfect clean surface to paint on.
This kitchen had three coats of Tikkurila Helmi 10 which is a beautiful low sheen finish. This is also rubbed down in between coats.
New knobs were added to complete the look.
